What We Monitor and Manage
We monitor the full network stack: internet circuits, routers, firewalls, switches, VLANs, WiFi access points, and VPN tunnels. We track latency, packet loss, bandwidth usage, and link health continuously, and alert before performance drops to a level your users would notice.
On the optimisation side, we tune Quality of Service so voice and video traffic gets priority, segment networks to separate guest WiFi from business systems, and manage firewall rules so security and performance work together rather than against each other. Most of our clients also use our UniFi WiFi networks and WatchGuard firewalls, which integrate cleanly with our monitoring tools.

For most SMEs we deploy Ubiquiti UniFi. It's robust, well-priced, and gives us proper visibility and control. For larger or more demanding sites we'll specify alternatives.
Basic firewall management is included in our standard IT support. Advanced configurations, multi-site rules, and full WatchGuard support are covered under our dedicated firewall service.
